CLEAN & HOLLOW

After hearing the reports from down south that the swell dropped down in size I decided to stay and check our local breaks..
The sun was out, off shores were ON and still plenty of swell left with some OH waves rolling through

I met up with some of my buddies at MB pier and told me that the southern part of the So bay was a bit smaller but had way better shape..the report was confirmed and there we went..

It was fun seeing most of the MB crew out there getting pitted even thou it got really crowded and ugly at times.

CHOCOLATE SESSION

I'm glad I follow my instincts and showed up here...it's been awhile since the last time I witness this type of conditions at this streach of coast...the ocean's color was a nasty brown chocolate, debris floating, and a bunch of warriors out there charging the wild surf that in occasion reached 9+ feet.

It was just unreal to see so many surfers and boogies come out from the dark caverns followed by a power spit; these waves had power and if you opted to go for the ramps you were going to get ejected no matter what!
To my surprise the wind remained calm most of the day on Saturday and so I had my chance to score a few dark barrels..

last wknd

the morning hight tide and the left over swell made the tribe of skimboarders come out and charge the shorebreak...it was fun to watch them go at it \!!!/
